Moving with Intention
A 90-minute class, taught by entertainer and producer Dorian Dietrich
The Art of the Slowburn
Slowburn is an effective way to command a stage and the attention of your audience, without the need for technical dance moves. In this workshop, burlesque performer Dorian Dietrich will share their tips and tricks to slow down while maintaining electrifying energy. We’ll find opportunities to embrace stillness and keep your audience mesmerized. Finally, we’ll learn a short choreo harnessing what we’ve learned and perform it in groups for one another.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in but that makes you feel good. Heels optional.
This class is appropriate for absolute beginner through intermediate performers.
